Completed metal roof on a South Florida home at golden hour
On approved credit

$0 down. 0% interest.
No payments for 12 months.

A roof that fails an insurance inspection does not wait for a lump sum to be available, so neither should the fix.

The short answer

SkyGuard offers $0 down, 0% interest and no payments for 12 months on approved credit. On a typical 2,000 sq ft roof that means a $12,000 shingle or $20,000 metal job starts with nothing paid up front. Financing is arranged before work begins and appears on the same written quote as the material rate, the deck rate and the permit fee.

Why this exists

Roofs fail on their own schedule. In South Florida the common trigger is not a leak, it is an insurance inspection: a carrier declines to renew until the roof is replaced, and the homeowner has weeks, not years, to find five figures. Financing turns that into a monthly number instead of a crisis.

Read this before you sign anything

  • Know what happens in month 13. The promotional period ends and the balance moves to standard terms. The lender discloses the rate and term in writing. Read it.
  • Deferred interest is not the same as no interest. Some promotional plans charge back interest from day one if the balance is not cleared in the window. Ask the lender directly which type your plan is.
  • The contractor does not set your rate. Approval, rate and term come from the lender. We arrange the introduction, we do not underwrite it.
  • A low headline price with a big deposit is usually worse. Florida caps roofing deposits, and a contractor wanting a large sum before materials arrive is a risk regardless of the price on the page.

This page describes a financing option, not financial advice. Terms, rates and approval are set by the lender and disclosed by them in writing before you commit.

Common questions.

What is the financing offer?+

$0 down, 0% interest and no payments for 12 months on approved credit. It is arranged before work starts and appears on the same written quote as everything else.

What happens after the 12 months?+

The balance moves onto the lender's standard terms. The specific rate and term depend on the plan you qualify for, and they are disclosed by the lender in writing before you sign anything. Read that disclosure. If you can clear the balance inside the promotional window you avoid interest entirely.

Does applying affect my credit score?+

Approval is subject to a credit check by the lender, not by us. Whether that is a soft or hard pull depends on the lender and the stage of the application, and they will tell you which before it happens.

How large a deposit do you take?+

Florida law caps roofing deposits. A contractor asking for a large sum before materials are delivered is a warning sign regardless of what the contract says. With financing arranged, the deposit question largely goes away.

Can I use financing alongside an insurance claim?+

Yes, and it is common. Insurance frequently covers part of a job, leaving a gap from the deductible or from upgrades outside the claim scope. Financing covers the gap so the work is not delayed waiting on settlement.
